Senior Research Fellow - 1 Post

DBT funded project entitled “Microbial whole cells-metal combo mediated one pot method for the dynamic kinetic resolution of racemic epoxides”

Qualification MSc Microbiology with two year research experience

Desirable:

1. Experience in identification of bacteria and fungi
2. Hands on experience in bioremediation / bioconversion
3. Experience in handling fermentors

Age Below 32 years as on 1-3-2010

Duration 1 year only

Salary Rs.14,000/- p.m. + 15% HRA

The appointment will be temporary for the period stated above or till completion of the project whichever is earlier. Candidates should have passed their post graduate degree with a minimum of 60 % marks. A Walk-in-Interview will be held at 11.00 AM on Tuesday, the 2nd March 2010 in Room No.1, Dept. of Applied Chemistry, Cochin University of Science and Technology, Kochi 682 022.
