Application are invited on plain paper for engagement as Project Assistant on behalf of the sponsor as per following details:

Project title - Genomic tools in bioremediation: Atrazine as model (DBT Project G-1-1649)

Educational Qualification First class MSc (Life Sciences/Equivalent)

Job Requirement Minimum 2 years experience in Bioinformatics in Research /Industrial environment

Fixed remuneration (p.m) Rs. 10,000/- to 12,000/- (as per rule)

No. of positions (the number of positions may vary) One (1) JRF

Age limit 28 years (relaxation admissible as per rules of Govt. of India)

Interested and eligible candidates may apply with bio-data in the prescribed format (available at neeri.res.in) supported by copies of documentary proof of date of birth, educational qualifications and experience etc. by post/courier to Project Leader.

Applicants will appear for walk-in personal interview before the Selection Committee on 25th February 2010 at 12.00 noon in Room No. 09 at Division/Zonal Centre Environmental Genomics Unit.

No TA will be admissible for appearing for the interview.

Candidates who do not fulfill the prescribed educational qualification will not be interviewed.

No interim inquiries will be entertained in this regard.
