Interview for Project-JRF Position
Title of Project: Identification of small molecule inhibitors of SARS-COV-2 Non-Structural Protein
1(NSP1) for the treatment of Covid-19.
Duration: Initially for 1 year and may be extended after reviewing the progress.
Age Limit: 30 Years as on 31.03.2025
Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. in life sciences with NET/DBT-JRF/GATE or equivalent exam cleared.
Research experience in protein expression and purification. Minimum 60% marks in Masters or
equivalent degree.
Desirable Qualifications: Structure-based drug design, and molecular modeling. Good oral and written
communication skills. A strong motivation for a career in research.
Principal Investigator: Dr. Prem S. Kaushal, Associate Professor
Fellowship: Rs. 31,000/- + 24% HRA per month
