Name of Project	Exploring differential gene regulation in brain of normal rats deprived of Rapid Eye Movement (REM) Sleep and Parkinson’s -induced REM Sleep deprived rat models
Name of Sponsoring Agency	Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB)
Duration of the Position	The project duration is up to July 2025. The appointment of the candidate is co terminus with the project duration.
Fellowship/ Monthly Compensation	Rs. 31,000/- + HRA @ 16% per month
Essential Qualifications	M.Sc. in any Branch of Life Sciences including but not restricted to Biochemistry / Biotechnology / Biophysics / Physiology / Zoology from a recognized University with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA.
Desirable Qualifications	Candidates with qualified NET/GATE/ CSIR/UGC/ DBT/ ICMR JRF are encouraged to apply. In addition, candidates having studied paper in any branch of neuroscience, hands-on experience in animal (rat) handling and miRNA sequencing data analysis would be preferred.
Age Limit	28 Years
