Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the position of one Junior Research Fellow in a DBT funded research project with following details:
Title: "Investigation of phagotrophic protist for microplastics degradation by predation pressure and ingestion-based systems"

Age limit: 28 years
Essential qualifications: M.Sc. Degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, or relevant area of Life Sciences with minimum of 55% marks or equivalent and with CSIR-NET/GATE/BET qualification. (Non CSIR-NET/GATE qualified candidate can also apply; however, the fellowship will be given as per the norms of DBT, New Delhi)
Desirable: Practical knowledge in isolation and maintenance of protozoa, bacteria, molecular biology and metabolites extraction techniques will be given preference.
Duration: Two years or up to the termination of project (subject to the review of candidates)
