(Monday) at 10.00 a.m. for recruitment of one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a DST-SERB
funded Project on “Utilizing germplasm diversity of climate resilient crop pearl millet for
identification and mapping of heat stress responsive gene(s) and functional annotation of
transcriptome adaptation to seedling heat stress’’ purely on contractual basis at Division of
Genetics, ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi-110012.

Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science
(i.e Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology/
Biochemistry/ Plant Physiology/ Life
Sciences) OR Post Graduate Degree in
Professional Course (i.e. Genetics and
Plant Breeding/ Biotechnology/ Plant
Physiology/ Bioinformatics) selected
through any one of the process described
as following:
a. Scholars who are selected through
National Eligibility Tests- CSIRUGC NET including lectureship
(Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
b. The selection process through National
level examinations conducted by
Central Government Departments and
their Agencies and Institutions such as
DST, DBT, DAE. DOS, DRDO,
MHRD, ICAR, ICMR. IIT, IISc, IISER
etc.
Desirable: Experience in molecular
markers and or proficiency in
bioinformatics tools
