CELL (NER-BPMC)
NER-BPMC has been set up by the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science &
Technology, Government of India, through Biotech Consortium India Limited (BCIL) for
development, coordination and facilitation of biotechnology programmes in the North
Eastern States of India.
Applications under NER-BPMC are invited for the posts of 2 Senior Consultants in the
areas of Healthcare/Biomedical & Agriculture.
Essential Qualifications & Experience: Candidates having master’s degree in Life
Sciences, Biotechnology, Agriculture, Pharma, Medical from a recognized University
with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the respective areas, preferably in
implementing major research programmes.
Desirable: Candidate having Ph.D. in respective areas with experience in handling
projects in North Eastern Region of India and recently superannuated would be
preferred.
AGE LIMIT: The maximum age limit for applying for the above post is 66 years as on
31st January, 2019.
EMOLUMENTS: Rs. 80,000/- PM (Consolidated).
The above consultancy assignments are contractual, initially for a period of one year
with a scope of further extension upto 3 years, depending on the requirement and
performance review.
