SPECIAL RECRUITMENT DRIVE FOR SC/ST/OBC CANDIDATES 
The National Centre for Cell Science (NCCS) is an autonomous institution of Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India, for a mandate of basic research, teaching & training, and as a national repository for cell lines/hybridomas etc. The centre is located in the midst of academically enriched environment of University of Pune Campus, Pune. NCCS invites applications for following posts purely on temporary basis on the various extramural projects. 
01 RA Research Associate 
“ Structural perspective of Molecular Interactions in Pathogenicity : Role of Regulatory Proteins of HIV – 1 and Heat Shock Proteins of M. tuberculosis” Dr. Shekhar Mande 
35 Years 
Essential Qualification & Experience: Ph.D./ MD/ MS/ MDS in any branch of life science or having three years of research, teaching, design and development experience after MVSc/M.Pharm/ME/MTech with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal. 
Desirable : 3 Years research experience post Ph. D Experience in X-Ray Crystallography Structure solution, Data Collection 
Rs. 36,000/- + 30% HRA pm

02 RA  Research Associate 
“Regulation of development of pathogenic T-helper 17 cells in collagen induced arthritis”. Dr. Mohan Wani

Essential Qualification & Experience: Ph.D./ MD/ MS/ MDS in any branch of life science or having three years of research, teaching, design and development experience after MVSc/M.Pharm/ME/MTech with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal.

Three years 
Desirable : Preference will be given to candidates with experience in T cell biology, cellular and molecular immunology, flow cytometry, handling of experimental animal models etc. 
03 SRF Senior Research Fellow

Essential Qualification & Experience: M.Sc. with minimum of 55% marks in any branch of life science and two years of post-M.Sc. research experience. Candidate should have qualified NET/GATE/LS /BET exam.

04 JRF Junior Research Fellow 
“Generation of transgene-free human induced pluripotent stem cells using nongenetic approaches for cell therapeutic applications. ” Dr. Nibedita Lenka

Essential Qualification & Experience: M. Sc. or equivalent degree with minimum of 55% marks in any branch of life science and having qualified NET/GATE/LS/BET. 
Desirable : Good academic record with Prior research experiance around two years with cell and tissue culture. Preferably mammalian cells. Well versed with various molecular biology tools and techniques. Good written & oral communication skills.

Essential Qualification & Experience : M. Sc. or equivalent degree with minimum of 55% marks in any branch of life science and having qualified NET/GATE/LS/BET. 
Desirable : The Candidate should have experience of at least 1-2 years in Basic Cell and Molecular Biology Techniques like PCR, handling cell lines, Northern and Southern Blot etc.

Desirable : Experience in identification of fungi by morphological and molecular methods, phylogenetic analysis and software handling fungal endophyte isolation, basic computer work using MS Word, Power point and Excel.
