Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Assistant/JRF in a UPCST-funded project (of
three year duration), entitled “Role of PfRVB proteins in immune evasion of human malaria
parasite Plasmodium falciparum” under supervision of Dr. Ashish Gupta, Department of Life
Sciences, School of Natural Sciences, Shiv Nadar University.

Eligibility:
1. Candidate should have Masters in Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology/ Genetics/
Bioinformatics/ Zoology/ Botany or any related field of Life Sciences from a recognized
University.
2. Birth Place of candidate should be in Uttar Pradesh.
3. Age of candidate should be below 28 years as on 1st April, 2015.
4. Candidate should have First class in B.Sc. and M.Sc.
Desirable Qualification: Practical experience in the field of molecular and cell biology as evident by
publications/thesis/dissertation. NET/GATE qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.
Fellowship: Rs. 20,000/- p.m. (as per UPCST norms)
Duration: One year (extendable based on performance and availability of funds)

qualification i.e. examinations passed, year, division, percentage of marks from 10th board onwards along
