Walk-in-interview

Following positions are to be filled purely on temporary and contract basis for a period of one year or till completion of the project at RMRCT, Jabalpur. General Conditions: The posts are purely temporary and co-terminable with the project. Preference will be given to the candidates having higher qualification and work experience. The selected candidates will have no claim for regular appointment under ICMR. No TA/DA will be paid for attending interview. Age may also be relaxed in deserving cases.

A Project :-“ Establishment of Prenatal Diagnosis of Thalassemia Syndromes and Sickle Cell Disorders in Madhya Pradesh and Assam under RMRCT, Jabalpur for period of 01 year.

1 Senior Research Fellow (nonMedical)- one post

M.Sc. in life Science/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology /Biochemistry with minimum two years Research experience.

Experience in Molecular/ Immunological techniques such as PCR, DNA Sequencing, Protein Gel Electrophoresis and cell culture.

Knowledge in data analysis software’s. Proficiency in Computer

Women candidates only. 32 Years. Age will be relax able to SC/ST/OBC/PWDs Candidates as per rules.

Rs. 18,000/- pm + 20% HRA.

Will be responsible for field and laboratory work related to the project. Job involves collection of samples from hospitals, processing and analysis.

2 Project Technical Officer (One post)

Graduate degree in life Science/Biotechnology/ Bio-chemistry/ Social work /Microbiology with one

Experience in counseling and Molecular techniques such as PCR, Proficiency in Computers.

Below 28 Years. Age will be relax able to SC/ST/OBC/PWDs Candidates as per rules.

Rs 27,800/-

Will be responsible for field and laboratory based work or any other work assigned by the Principal Investigator.

Job involves counseling prospective parents of hemoglobinopathies affected/suspected fetus/child.
