Applications are invited for purely project based positions on temporary basis. Candidates having appropriate qualifications in relevant subject consistently with good academic record and experience may apply as given below.

1. Senior Research Fellow (02)*

M. Sc. in Botany/Forestry/Biotechnology with first Division from the recognized University with minimum two years research experience in relevant field.

Preference will be given to the candidates having experience in the relevant field.

HPPCL funded project entitled “Population Assessment, Standardization of Propagation Protocols and Establishment (ex situ & in situ) of Selected Species as a Part of Biodiversity
Conservation Plan under Sainj Hydro-Electric Project in Himachal Pradesh” (PI: Dr. S.S. Samant )

3. Senior Research Fellow/ Junior Research Fellow (01)

M.Sc. in Botany/ Forestry  /Environmental Science/relevant field with First Division from the recognized University with minimum two years research experience in relevant field for SRF.

Preference will be given to the candidates having experience in Taxonomy, Ecology or in relevant field.

HPPCL funded project entitled “Study on the impact of Sainj Hydro-Electric Project on the
Great Himalayan National Park (GHNP) in general and flora and fauna of the local area in
particular” (PI: Dr. S.S. Samant )

4. Junior Research Fellow (01)

First Class Post- Graduation in Physics/ Environmental Science or any other relevant subject

Preference will be given to the candidates desirous to work aerosols impact in land and glacier regions of the Indian Himalaya

ISRO funded project entitled “Aerosols climatology over the northwestern Indian Himalayan region, Himachal Pradesh” (PI: Dr. J.C. Kuniyal)

Age Limit: Senior Research Fellow (SRF): 32 years; Junior Research Fellow (JRF) 28 years; Field cum Lab Assistant (FLA) 35 years; relaxation for SC/ST/Women/PH and OBC as per Govt. norms.

Emoluments: For SRF Rs. 18,000/- + 10% H.R.A (NET qualified) or Rs. 14,000/- + 10% H.R.A (Without Net) or *SRF Rs. 15,000/- Fixed; JRF, Rs. 16,000 + 10% H.R.A. (NET qualified) or Rs. 12,000 + 10% H.R.A. (Without NET) and FLA Rs. 7,000/- (fixed).
