Applications are invited for the following Research Associates and Senior Research Fellow positions for various projects at the National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB), Hyderabad.

a) Research Associate: One position

Fellowship: ` 22,000 plus 30 % HRA p.m.

Qualifications and Experience: Ph.D. in Molecular Biology/ Molecular Genetics/ Animal Biotechnology or related field from a recognised university. Experience of working with mammalian cells culture and or embryonic stem cells would be an advantage.

b) Research Associate: One position  (For Indo-UK Project on “Transcriptome analysis in buffalo species and the genetics of innate immunity”).

Fellowship: ` 24,000 plus 30 % HRA p.m.

Qualifications and Experience: Ph.D. in Molecular Biology/ Molecular Genetics/ Animal Biotechnology or related field from a recognised university. One to two years of experience of working in a Molecular Biology laboratory environment. Hands-on experience of working with bacterial diseases in livestock
and or mammalian cell culture will be an advantage.

c) Senior Research Fellow: One position.

(For Indo-UK Project on “Transcriptome analysis in buffalo species and the genetics of innate immunity”).

Fellowship: ` 18,000 plus 30 % HRA p.m.

Qualifications and Experience : B.Tech (Biotechnology) / M.Sc. in Molecular Biology/ Molecular Genetics/ Animal Biotechnology or related field. Two years of experience of working in a Molecular Biology laboratory environment. Hands-on experience of working with bacterial diseases in livestock or genetics of livestock will be an advantage.
