BRNS Project – ‘Investigations on the potential and feasibility of sit for management of fruit files in mango and cucurbits’

18 December 2013 at IIHR, Hessaraghatta Lake, Bangalore from 10.00 a.m.

1. Senior Research Fellow (one post)

Eligibility: Essential: M.Sc. in Entomology/Biochemistry with minimum two years of experience preferably in fruit fly research.

Desirable: Hands on experience in fruit fly rearing and Computer knowledge. Publications related to fruit fly will be given due weightage.

Remuneration of fellowship: Rs 18,000 + HRA* for first two years and Rs 20,000 + HRA* for 3rd year.

*HRA subject to approval from funding agency (BRNS Project).

2. Technical Assistant (one post) – Rs 10,000 p.m. (fixed)

Eligibility: Essential: M.Sc. in Entomology/Sericulture with experience in handling fruit crops pests.

Age: 35 years for men and 40 years for women. (Relaxable in the case of SC/ST, OBC and other exempted

categories of candidates to the extent permissible under rules.)

Project period up to: 31 March 2016 on a purely temporary basis.
