WALK- IN-INTERVIEW
Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) (one) on purely temporary basis to work in a project entitled “Molecular epidemiological studies of Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) in clinical and subclinical bovine mastitis in Mizoram, Tripura and bovine & caprine mastitis in west Bengal” under DBT’s Twinning programme.
Qualification of the JRF:
Essential qualification: M.Sc. in Life Sciences/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology or M.V.Sc in Microbiology/ Medicine/ Public Health/ Biochemistry.
Preference will be given to the candidates having experience in molecular biology works.
Age: Maximum 28 years (age relaxation for different categories will be as per rule)
Tenure and condition of the project: - The position carries fellowship amount as prescribed under DBT’s Twinning programme. The position is purely temporary and subject to co-terminus with the project. There is no provision of rearrangement after termination of the project and IVRI, ICAR or DBT will have no liability, whatsoever, for this position. PI will have the exclusive right to terminate the engagement due to unsatisfactory performance without assigning any reason.
Selection procedure: The eligible candidate may appear directly in a Walk-in- interview on 5th April, 2013 at 11.00 AM in Eastern Regional Station of IVRI, 37-Belgachia Road, Kolkata – 700 037.
