Advertisement for the post of JRF
Applications are invited for the two posts of Junior Research Fellow to work in a DST funded project entitled "Molecular mapping of QTLs for early blight resistance in tomato"
Candidate should be M. Sc. (Ag.) in Plant Pathology/Genetics and Plant Breeding or M. Sc. in any discipline of life sciences like Biotechnology/Genetics/Botany/ Molecular biology/Biochemistry/ Microbiology etc. with at least 55 % marks in the subject and have qualified NET-LS/NET-JRF or GATE.
Monthly stipend will be as per the rule of DST.
The term of appointment will be co-terminus with the period of the project. The upper age limit should be 28 years (5 year relaxation will be given to SC/ST and women candidates). All candidates will be interviewed by a duly constituted se lection committee. SC/ST candidates will be preferred as per GOI rules.
