Ministry of Communications & Information Technology, Department of Information Technology funded research project “Development of web based microbial database ( bacteria, actinomycetes and fungi) of North-East India” sanctioned to Dr SR Joshi as Principal Investigator in the Department of Biotechnology & Bioinformatics, NEHU, Shillong

(i) Junior Research Fellow

Qualifications : M.Sc in Biotechnology/Microbiology.

Stipend : Rs 12000/- p.m. plus HRA for the first two years and Rs 14000/-p.m. plus HRA for subsequent years.

(ii) Project Assistant

Qualifications : B. Sc with knowledge of computers and database handling.

Stipend : Rs 8000/- p.m. for the first two years and Rs 10000/- p.m. for subsequent years

The Walk-in interview will be held on 24th September 2010 at 10.30 AM in the Department of Biotechnology & Bioinformatics , North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong – 793 022, Meghalaya.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
