Subject: Position available for JRF AIRF, JNU under DBT sponsored project

JRF

DBT funded project under “Innovative Young Biotechnologist Award 2008” titled “Characterization of Novel Mechanism of drug resistance mediated by EFG1, a morphogenic regulator in Candida albicans, a pathogenic yeast.” The work would primarily involve working on drug resistance and its molecular mechanisms in pathogenic yeast, Candida.

The scheduled date for interview for these 4 positions on 9th April, 2010 at 3 pm at AIRF Committee Room.

The position is temporary and available until August, 2012 (till the end of the project).

Qualifications for JRF/SRF: M.Sc./ B.Tech in Biotechnology/ Biochemistry /Biophysics/ Life Sciences/ Microbiology/ any stream of biological sciences.

(Desirable): Working experience with pathogenic yeasts.

Salary: As per DBT norms.
