Walk-in interview in Project-JRF position in Dr. Rituparna Sinha Roy Laboratory
1. Project title: Harnessing physically diverse nanoscale materials for siRNA delivery to overcome cancer resistance ".

5. Emolument:Rs. 25000+30 % HRA
6.Nature and Duration of Appointment: Applications are invited for a Walk-in interview for Project-JRF position in the group of Dr. Rituparna Sinha Roy, at IISER Kolkata. The position is initially available for one year and could be extended for another 6 months, based on the performance and availability of funds. The duty involves solid phase peptide synthesis, structural characterization and its application in the area of medicinal chemistry, therapeutic biomaterial  and cancer biology.
7.Minimum Essential Qualification: MSc Chemistry having specialization in organic chemistry, or MSc  Chemistry with MSc project in the area of organic chemistry or MSc in Life  Sciences having specialization in Biochemistry/Zoology/Biotechnology/Microbiology and having Chemistry as one of the pass subjects. Candidate needs to have strong background in chemistry, especially in peptide chemistry.  Candidates need to have valid NET-LS fellowship or GATE certificate.
8. Desirable qualification: Prior experience in peptide synthesis.
9.Application Process: Interested candidates are requested to bring an application letter(hardcopy), hardcopy of CV, a brief description of research experience (hardcopy, maximum 1 page) and hardcopies of self-attested relevant documents (certificates and marks sheets from Class X, Class XII, BSc, MSc) and a photo-identity proof on the date of interview. Candidates also need to bring valid NET-LS or GATE score card. CV should have contact info (e-mail address and cell phone no.),date of birth and candidate’s photo.
