Project Assistant at Mysore

Central Food Technological Research Institute, a constituent establishment of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, Government of India wishes to recruit eligible candidates for 3 (Three) positions of Project Assistants (PA-II) on temporary basis in the research projects of XII five year plan "Advanced Facility for Research in Molecular Nutrition (BSC-0404, Nutri-ARM)" at CSIR-CFTRI, Mysore.

Essential Qualification: First Class M.Sc. / M. Tech. in Nutrition (Applied & Molecular Nutrition) / Biochemistry / Biotechnology / Food Science/ Molecular Biology / Life Sciences or equivalent degree with good academic records.

Emoluments: A Consolidated Salary of Rs 12,000 per month will be paid.

The selection will be based on the performance of candidates in the interview.

Terms & Conditions:

1. Candidates should not have exceeded 28 years of age as on the last date of receiving the applications. Age relaxation as applicable by Gov. of India rules for SC/ST/OBC and women candidate will be considered.
2. The engagement of Project Assistant is exclusively for the above mentioned project.
3. The engagement will be contractual and on purely temporary basis.
4. The engagement under the externally funded project does not confer any right / claim whatsoever either explicitly or implicitly on the appointee for regular appointment in CSIR/CFTRI, against any post or otherwise under any legal conditions precedent.
5. No TA/DA will be given to the candidates for attending the interview.
