Research Associate (RA)

DBT sub-project entitled 'Chickpea genome sequence analysis and its alignment to genetic map'of "Next Generation Challenge programme on Chickpea Genomics". The position will include working in the area of chickpea genomics. The work will involve generation and data analyses using next generation sequencing technologies, whole genome annotation followed by various aspects of functional genomics in chickpea.

Research Associate (one post): Emoluments as per DST/DBT norms, & sanctioned in the project.

Qualification: Ph.D. degree with relevant research experience in Bioinformatics, Molecular Biology or related field. The candidate should have First class/division throughout academic career and research experience as evidenced from published papers in standard referred journals. It will be an advantage to have experience in the area of genomics, including genome annotation, transcriptomics, microarray data analysis etc.
