WALK-IN INTERVIEW on 18th April 2011
DST funded Project entitled “Identification and characterization of isoforms of immune regulatory molecules, serpin and defensin of the filarial vector mosquito, Culex quinquefasciatus” .
1. Educational Qualifications and experience Post Graduate (PG) Degree in Animal Science/Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology with two years research experience in molecular biology/ proteomics/ parasitology/ tissue culture/immunology.NET qualified candidates are preferred.2. Fellowship amount Rs.18,000/=-p.m. (Consolidated) + HRA admissible as per existing DST Guidelines.3. Age limit Below 35 years (as on the date of Walk in interview) and relaxable for SC/ST and OBC Candidates, as per Govt. of India rules in force.
Junior Research Fellow - 1 Post
1. Educational Qualification Post Graduate (PG) Degree in Animal Sciences/Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology and NET qualified.2. Fellowship amount Rs.16,000/= p.m. (Consolidated) + HRA admissible as per existing DST Guidelines for NET qualified for Ph.D Rs.12,000/= p.m. (consolidated) + HRA admissible as per existing DST Guidelines for NET qualified for Lectureship3. Age limit Below 28 years (as on the date of Walk in interview). For SC/ST and OBC Candidates, relaxable as per Govt. of India rules in force.Venue: Vector Control Research Centre, Medical Complex Indira Nagar, Puducherry-605006.
Candidates who wish to appear for the interview can download the application format given in the Web Site of Vector Control Research Centre, Puducherry. Duly filled in application along with the copies of certificate should be submitted at the time of interview. Any canvassing by or on behalf of the candidate or bringing political or other outside influence with regard to selection shall be a disqualification and such candidates will not be entertained. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
