JRF Position Available in DBT-Cancer-Biology Project
Applications are invited for one post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the DBT sponsored research project entitled “Mutant-p53 gain-of-function: its role in regulating long noncoding RNA (lncRNA) expression and associated chemo-resistance in hepatocellular carcinoma” under the supervision of Dr. Rajdeep Chowdhury, Department of Biological Sciences, BITS Pilani, Pilani Campus, Rajasthan.
Essential Qualification: M.Sc. / M.Tech. in Microbiology / Biotechnology / Biochemistry or related life science disciplines.
Desirable: Preference will be given to candidates with good academic records and having research experience in cancer biology related projects.
Emoluments: Emoluments will be as per DBT norms.

Junior Research Fellow in DST-sponsored project: "Study the crosstalk of MAVS and NLRX1 in regulation of TNF modulated mitochondrial functions in human breast cancer"
Applications are invited on for the JRF position to work under DST-RFBR sponsored research project “Study the crosstalk of MAVS and NLRX1 in regulation of TNF modulated mitochondrial functions in human breast cancer” (Funded by DST, Project letter No. INT/RUS/RFBR/P-199). Duration of project is for two years.
Junior Research Fellow: 01
First two years: Rs. 25,000/- plus 20% HRA per month,
1. Essential Qualification: M.Sc. degree in Zoology/ Life Sciences/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology or related subject with minimum 55% marks or an equivalent grade. Plus 2 years research experience in given below filed are mandatory.
2. Desirable Qualification: Research experience in Animal cell culture, Molecular Genetics, Biochemistry and cancer cell biology are highly desirable.
3. Preference will be given to NET/GATE qualified candidates. Others will avail fellowship according to DST norms
The  position  is purely temporary and co-terminus with the duration of the project.
