Qualification required: M.Sc in any branch of biological science/ Bioinformatics with prior experience in NGS data analysis of transcriptome /gene expression, marker genotyping (SSRs/SNP), gene mapping, Protein extraction and analysis in 2D Gel electrophoresis. The candidate should be CSIR/UGC/NET qualified; however candidates graduated with subjects in which no NET exam is conducted by UGC are exempted.
Fellowship amount : As per DST rules
Tenure : The position is purely temporary, renewable after every six months and will continue until July, 2017 (the end of project) based on satisfactory performance.

Installation and maintenance of High power/cluster servers would be desirable.

The eligible candidates should bring an application on plain paper addressed to Head, Division of Vegetable Science, Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi-110 012 along with complete bio-data giving full particulars, i.e. proof of age, proof of reservation, qualifications, examinations passed, marks obtained in each examination, research experience in project/scheme, publications (only published, with a set of Photostat copy), NOC from the present employer etc. The candidate should submit one set of attested copies of marks sheets/transcripts. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. Only the candidates having essential qualifications would be entertained for the interview
