Essential: M.Sc. in Plant Pathology/Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology/Life Sciences with 2 years of experience in Fungal Molecular Biology or relevant field
Desirable: Ph.D in Plant Pathology/ Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/Life Sciences / Research experience in Molecular Biology and knowledge of computer applications and
bioinformatics.
1. AGE: The upper age limit is 40 years; relaxation to SC/ST/OBC/PH/Ex-Serviceman/Women as per the Govt. of India instructions.
2. No objection and experience certificate from the employer in case he/she is in employment.
3. The interview will be held on 17. 10. 2014 (reporting time 9.30-11.30 am) in Visiting Scientist Room (Room No. 41), at Division of Plant Pathology, IARI, Pusa Campus, New Delhi-110012.
4. The period of engagement of RA will be initially for one year. However, appointment is likely to be extended further.
5. Position is purely time bound, non-regular and on co-terminus basis with the project. Appointment can be terminated on one month’s notice
6. The selected candidate shall have no legal right to claim regularization by absorption or otherwise against any regular posts or any further contractual engagement on termination of the Project.
7. Candidates should appear for interview with a copy of bio-data (strictly in the format attached), photograph and original testimonials.
8. Candidates reaching after the specified timing will not be entertained.

A walk-in-interview will be held at 11.30 a.m. on 28 October, 2014 in the Department of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, Tezpur University for one purely temporary position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the DBT-Twinning Project entitled ‘In-Silico design and evaluation of sequences for γD crystalline protein’ under the Principal Investigator Dr. Anupam Nath Jha, Assistant Professor, Department of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, Tezpur University. Educational Qualification: Candidate must possess a M.Sc. in Bioinformatics/ Biotechnology/ Computer Science/ Physics or B.Tech. or M.Tech. in Bioinformatics/ Biotechnology/ Computer Science from a recognized University/ Institute with minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA for general category and for SC/ST/OBC relaxation will be given as per Govt. of India rules.
Fellowship: Rs 16,000/- (Rupees sixteen thousand) only + 10% HRA per month for NET/GATE/BET/BINC qualified candidates. Rs. 12,000/- (Rupees twelve thousand) only + 10% HRA per month for other candidates.
Duration: one (01) years or till completion of the project whichever is earlier.
Age: Candidate should not be more than 28 years of age on the date of interview. Upper age limit may be relaxed up to 5 years in the case of candidate belonging to SC/ ST /OBC
/Women / Physically Challenged.
