Advertisement for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF-01 post) & Senior Research Fellow (SRF-01 post)

Applications are invited for the post of a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) / Senior Research Fellow (SRF) to work under the research project entitled “Process scaleup studies for sustainable Biohydrogen production exploring lignocellulosic derived sugar using E. coli [Strain- gbu3gAflx]: a circular economic paradigm” funded by Gujarat State Biotechnology Mission, Govt. of Gujarat at Gujarat Biotechnology University (GBU) under Dr. Sudheer Pamidimarri. The post is purely temporary and co-terminates with the project.

Eligibility:

-JRF:

M.Sc./ M.Tech./ M.Pharm./ B.Tech. or equivalent in Biotechnology/ Life Sciences and allied areas with a minimum of 55% marks in the preceding qualification.

• Candidates who have qualified the CSIR-UGC-NET/DBT-JRF/ICMR-JRF/GATE etc. National-level exams will be preferred.

• Prior experience in molecular biology, such as cloning, Gene knockout, metabolic engineering, heterologous protein expression and interested in handling and maintaining bioreactors and scaleup process.

• Proficiency in scientific writing is desirable.

-SRF:

• M.Sc./ M.Tech./ M.Pharm./ B.Tech. or equivalent in Biotechnology/ Life Sciences and allied areas with a minimum of 55% marks in the preceding qualification

• 2 years of research experience as a JRF or research assistant/Research Fellow post master’s course.
