The Walk-in-Interview will be conducted for recruitment of Young Professional-II and Young Professional-I purely on time bound/non-regular/temporary/contractual engagement and coterminus with the concerned program on various dates at ICAR- National Institute of High Security Animal Diseases, Anand Nagar, Bhopal under various program of this Institute. 1(A) Name of Post Young Professional-II

(iii) Duration 03 Years (Initially for a period of one year and extendable for two more years (one year at a time), subject to satisfactory performance of the candidate and approval from funding agency. 

(iv) Essential Educational Qualification Post-graduation degree in Microbiology/Virology/ Biotechnology /Biochemistry 

(v) Desirable Qualification 

 Laboratory experience in animal cell culture, serological and virological methods, and molecular biology work. 
 Knowledge on bioinformatics and computer applications. (As evidenced by dissertation/thesis research work, experience certificates, etc.) 

(vi) Remuneration Rs. 42000/= only per month (consolidated) .No House Rent Allowance (HRA) will be paid. 

(vii) Age Limit The minimum age under young professional category will be 21 years and maximum 45 years with relaxation as per rules.

(v) Desirable qualification Preference will be given to candidates having laboratory work experience on animal virus, virological methods and molecular biology. 

(vi) Remuneration Rs. 42000/- per month only (consolidated). No House Rent Allowance (HRA) will be paid. 

(vii) Age Limit Minimum age is 21 years and maximum age limit is 45 years with relaxation as per rules.

Desirable:

1. Candidates with experience in handling inseet collection & laboratory rearing/insect molecular biology /biotechnology as evident by research publications in peer-reviewed journals and rescarch work in an M.Sc. thesis will only be preferred. 
2. Experience in getting associated with field surveys, collection, and molecular characterization of inseets. 
3. Experience in rearing insects, insect DNA/RNA extraction, PCR & qRTPCR, developing DNA barcoding etc
4. Experience in sequence analysis software for Sanger sequencing. (Exclusively for Indian nationals only)

Junior Research Fellow (JRF) at Department of Biotechnology, Bennett University (The Times Group), Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh

 

Applications are invited for one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position under the DBT-funded BioE3 – Precision Biotherapeutics programme for the project titled “Development of a recombinant monoclonal antibody-based assay with directional antibody immobilization for improved detection of carbapenem resistance in Acinetobacter baumannii” at the Department of Biotechnology, Bennett University (The Times Group), Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. 

The project involves recombinant protein expression and purification, antibody selection and engineering approaches, and immunoassay development for diagnostic applications related to antimicrobial resistance. 

The position is purely temporary and contractual, initially for one year and extendable based on satisfactory performance. 

Eligibility: Candidates must hold a Postgraduate degree (MSc/MTech) in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or a related discipline, or a Graduate/Postgraduate degree in a professional course relevant to biotechnology, and must have been selected through CSIR-UGC NET (including Lectureship/Assistant Professorship), GATE, or through national-level examinations conducted by central government departments or agencies such as DBT, DST, ICMR, ICAR, DAE, DRDO, MOE, IITs, IISc, IISERs, NISER, etc., as per DBT/DST norms. 

Prior theoretical or practical exposure to molecular biology, protein biochemistry, immunology, and immunoassays will be considered desirable.

Project Description: NLRP3 inflammasome has been implicated in a wide range of diseases. Few studies have reported on the NLRP3-NEK7- complex axis role in disease pathogenesis. Functional role of NLRP3 needs to shed light to get deeper insights of NEK7 role in human immune or inflammatory mediated functions.
